It is hard to tell the differences between these two subjects (or concepts) sometimes. When I am alone, I could imagine all the situations with things and people that are remote from me. All those imagined situations do not really exist at the moment when they were created in my mind (or in my brain). In that sense, all those imagined situations are not reality b/c they do not really exist. But those imagined situations lead to certain emotions which could dictate how I feel about those things and people.
For instance, there were envious feelings coming up when C. told me about most of her asian friends are all pairing up. Yet, I am alone and feeling a bit envious. In this scenario, all the negative feelings are result of negative imagination. They are not reality at all.
